The base salary for councillors elected in October will be boosted to more than $94,000, with a recommendation that council should be treated as a full-time job as a result. Will council be your sole occupation? 

Yes, but I will continue serving on the Boards of Directorship as well as my other philanthropy work so long as there is no conflict of interest.  

What are your top three priorities, if elected? 

Like everyone in this city, I want to address the downtown core including, the homelessness crisis and high vacancy rate. 

I want to tackle the lack of affordable and subsidized housing while addressing urban sprawl. 

Additionally, I want to solve our high unemployment rate by drawing more businesses to London. 

Which city politician, past or present, do you best identify with? 

Hazel McCallion, she began as a city councilor and brought innovative thoughts, new businesses, and revolutionized the City of Mississauga into what it is today; a booming, thriving, city and economy with it's own distinctive character.
What is your vision for London? 

A place with it's own charm and character, where people can work, live and play, feeling comfortable and safe, all while becoming an innovative, and dynamic city. 

What is the biggest challenge facing London right now? 

Cost of living. Everything is expensive, (housing, food, taxes, rent, etc.) As council we need to address these matters, as well as increase employment opportunities. It's important to grow as a city in a balanced manner so that there is both work, affordable homes, and quality of life for people. 

What sets you apart from other candidates? 

I bring with me a multitude of life experiences. I understand everyone's perspective and can empathize, while still seeing the pathway to success. I also bring with me an openness to listen to all sides of a matter, research and mediate the situation. I bring with me innovative thought and a voice that won't shy away from doing what's right.
